She is willing to marry Jack because of his name so this shows us here that she's see's marriage as getting something unique from other girls in this case it is for the name Earnest. Gwendolen's basic view on marriage is being a union she could enjoy and she would want to be treated formally like good dresses and blowing kisses and all that stuff.

Algy has found someone that has changed his views on marriage. Now he sees it as he needs her because he can't pitcher his life without her. She he sees it as an honor to marry her.
