In 1857 the British switch to Enfield rifles. The cartdiges were sealed with beef and pork fat which went against their religon. The Sepoys Rebelled, but in the end were defeated by BEITCO in a year. This led Indian National Congress and the spread of Inidan Nationism. -

The Suez Canal was finished in 1869 by French enigneers. It would be owned by the French for 99 years until Egypt wanted it. Today it brings Egypt over 3 billion dollars. -

The rebellion thought they were godlike and couldn't get wounded. They took over the European section of Bejing and held them hostage for a couple months. They rebellion was squashed by europeans powers that invaded. -
Suez Canal Crisis of 1956
The British and French held the ownership of the canalin 1956. The Egytian President, Gamal Nasser, Nationalized the canal, but then it closed down for 8 years and left 14 ships trapped until it reopened in 1957.
