The Boer War was caused by the Boers, Dutch farmers, who blaimed the British for giving outsiders political rights. The Boers tokk up arms because of this and ended up losing in their war against the British. -

In this Rebellion peasents set siege on European section of Bejing for months. The British won and this allowed them to have better control over thir parts in Asia. -
Roosevelt Corollary
This Corollary gave the U.S. the right to be an international police power in the Western Hemisphere.
