Attila The Hun was a ruthless man. He tried conguring the world slower but surly. He came to his down fall in 453 B.C; he came to it by spreading his army to thin around the conquoured area( which at that time was most of Asia and little Europe. ) Attila was looking for pure power, trying to get the world under his grip. -

China discovered America in 1421( way before Spain did. ) Spain actually used chinese maps to get to America. China was trying to expand across the world and learn about other cultures. Every country was looking for more land. Trying to fine the "Bigger and Newer land." -

Christopher Columbus
This is one example of Spain being Imperialistic. They sent Columbus over to find new land and take it over. Spain was looking for a way to make more money and to control more land. Then he went to the queen and got the job. So they sent out Columbus to find the "New World" -
Louisiana Purchase
The Luisiana Purchase was in 1803; this purchase double the size of the United States of America. This Purchase was of top importance for America to make at that time. It final showed the other countries, that they were a major country and slow but surly they will become a power house. -
Alaska Purchase
Alaska was simply bought to explain the land that the USA owns. This purchase gave the USA twenty percent more land than what we had. The goverment also had knowledge to believe that there was gold and oil in Alaska; when America went there they found what they were looking for. -
Berlin Confress
Berlin Confress was held for every imperialistic country to get some land in Africa. This confress lasted three months. Everyone wanted a piece of that pie. It was a location where they could get so many slaves and raw materials there. The more land they could get the better. -
Indian National Congress (INC)
The INC was the English taking over India. This lasted untill 1907. They splilt up because India demanded independence. The Indias were lead by Gandhi, following his way of peace to take their land back from England. -
Hawaii Purchase
The Hawii purchase was one way for the Americans to travel out west. This spot was good for a few reason such as giving America a bigger empire. Also, since Hawii is in the middle the of USA and Asia, it is a good check point for our Navy to stop rest up, and get more material. -
HItler's Rain
Hitler came to power by the death of his superior. When Hilter came to power there was no hassitation for him to start of the Nazi camps, and not only the Nazi camp but taking over every contry as he could! The bigger the land he controls, the easier to win the war. His goal was to make the whole world under his rain and Nazi. -
Purchase Cuba
Cuba was purchased for few main resons. The first one was the American citizens were asking the goverment to buy it. The second reason was more land out east; so we can have more navy a little farther away from our main lands. So they can notify the main lands earlier.
