  • Step 1 of 6

    IGE Antibody is formed & attaches itself to cells.
  • step 2 of 6

    Allergen binds to IGE antibodies and sends out signals for the body to release histamine.
  • Step 3 of 6

    Irritation and/or swelling occurs.
  • Step 4 of 6

    The reaction worsens and things can be mild (hives) or severe (anaphylaxis).
  • Step 5 of 6

    Body recieves antibiotics.
  • Step 6 of 6

    Over time, the body is healed.
