Step One
A person consumes an allergan which causes a reaction that has never happened before. -
Step Two
After the person consumes the allergen, the body reacts by creating an IgE antibody which joins itself to cells in tissue throughout the body. -
Step Three
After the antibody joins with the cells, the body is prepared for that allergen if it enters the body again. -
Step Four
When the person consumes the allergen again, it connects to the antibodies and sends signals in order for the body to distribute huge quantities of histamine. -
Step Five
Irritation is casued by the large amount of histamine in the body. -
Step Six
The irritation differs between each person. They can be mild
reactions like hives or more severe like shortness of breath or death.
