Border Patrol Established

The DREAM Act

DACA is Announced
The Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals was announced by President Obama. Illegal immigrants would not be deported if they met the following requirements: they came to the U.S. before the age of 16, they have lived here for at least 5 years, they are currently in school or active in the military, they have a clean criminal record, and they are under the age of 30.
