In 2006 Arizona passed a law that said that any company hiring illegal immigrants would be "dissolved". Some argued against the law and said that only the federal government had the right to create laws against immigrants. -

This is a copy of the Senate Bill 1070 and the day it was put to challenge. In 2010 then bill was amended to stricken laws on illegal immigrants. The legislators made it, so that police officers could question a person's citizenship when they were detained by a police officer. The legislation also said that a person's citizenship would be judged by an appointed federal officer in the end. -
Speech on Southwest border initiative
At the university of Texas a government official gives a speech on border security. He says through the southwest border initiative the southwestern border of the U.S. has been strenghthened. He says the intiative was put into effect 2 years prior by the Obama adminstration, to keep drugs out of the US, and to keep away the Mexican cartel war.
