  • Roanoke

    British started to colonize in the New World (Present day America) in 1585. They first setted at Roanoke. They were ill-equiped, and not trained to live off the land. Expedition was not sucessful.

    This was the second expedition to Roanoke. It consisted of mostly families. They were determined to build a durable community that would last. When relief expedition came to help in 1590 they town of Roanoke disappeared.

    In 1620 the pilgrims settled on Plymouth and the Plymouth colony was established. This was the first colonization on New England. In 1630 Massachusetts was settled in and the Massachusetts Bay Colony was established. New England’s early life was actually quite stable.

    Arizona SB 1070
    SB 1070 was a law passed that required all immigrants over the age of 14 who remain in the US for more than a month to register with the US government and for registration documents to be in procession at all times. Later on April 30 HB 2162 was passed that ruled that prosecutors not investigate complaints based on race, color, or nationality.
