Microsoft born
On April 4, 1975, chillhood friends Bill Gates and Paul Allen found Microsoft, a company that initially made computer software. -
First ".com" debuts
Now-defunct Massachusetts computer company Symbolics registered the first dot-com domain, symbolics.com, on March 15, 1985.
It would take until 1987 for the total number of .com domains to reach 100. Today, there's a .com registered every second. -
World Wide Web (www) is born
Tim Berners-Lee, a british scientis, invented the World Wide Web in 1989. I t was originally created for scienists in universities and institutes around the world too share informatiton in an automatical way.
On 30 April 1993, CERN PUT THE World Wide Web on public domain. -
Amazon start up
In 1994 Jeff Bezos, a former Wall Street hedge fund executive, incorporated "Amazon.com", online retailer, manufacturer of electronic book readers, and Web services provider that became the iconic example of electronic commerce. -

WiFi was invented and first released for consumers in 1997. -
Google foundation

FACEBOOK launch
On February 4, 2004, a Harvard sophomore named Mark Zuckerberg launches The Facebook, a social media website he had create in order to connect Harvard students with one another. -
Youtube foundation
It was registered by Steve Chen, Chad Hurley, and Jawed Karim, three former employees of the American e-commerce company PayPal.
They had the idea that ordinary people would enjoy sharing their “home videos.” The company is headquartered in San Bruno, California. -
First iPhone announced
Apple CEO Steve Jobs unveiled the first iPhone on Jan. 09, 2007. The device which didn't actually go on sale until June, started at $499 for a 4G model.
