    the western roman empire is fragmented into many germanic tribes like the (Franks) the (Odoacers) and the (Visigoths) and with that, it starts the early middle ages. the eastern roman empire now the only roman empire is able to capture the (Italian peninsula)

    the holy roman empire is fragmented into 2 parts France and the holy roman empire. the byzantine empire is shrinking as they were invaded by the Muslims (the Seljuk-Turks) so the holy roman empire sedns soldiers that are later referred to as (crusader) to help the (byzantine) empire

    the crusades continue onwards for 200 years but when the crusaders capture some land they make (crusade kingdoms) instead of giving it back to the byzantine empires and then later on the crusaders take over (Constantinople) which is later taken back
