    Donna was first detected as a tropical wave moving off the African coast, on August 29.Dojnna followed a general West Northwestward track for five days, passing overt the northern Leeward Islands on the 4th and 5th as a category 4 hurricane and then to the North of Puerto Rico llater on the 5th.

    Whenever, Hurricane Carla formed and began, there had to be hurricane watches all over Texas. Hurricane Carla was very big, and strong. The highest winds they found for Carla was 170 miles per hour in Port Lavaca.

    Hurricane Camille is said to be the worst storm ever to hit mainland United States with winds of 200 miles per hour and tides over 20 feet. Hurricane Camille, also smashed into the Missosippi Gulf Coast.

    Hurricane Hugo's winds were 135 miles per hour, which is very high. Hugo made it to the cateagory 4 hurricane. Tyhe results on Hurricane Hugo's wind forces were, in tree, and power line damages.

    Hurricane got started in the central of the Bahamas. Hurricane Bob made a storm surge 5 to 8 feet along the Rhode Island Shore. The rainfall Bob made appear was about 3 to 6 inches.

    Hurricane Andrew wasn't at bad, or strong as the other hurricanes in Mainland, U.S. Andrew did cause some damages, but not as bad as Hurricane Camille. Either way, Andrew's wind speeds caused 99% of the damage.

    Hurricane Katrina was the deadliest and most baddest Atlantic hurricane. Hurricane Katrina was the second strongest hurricane ever recorded in the U.S. In New Orleans, the levees were designed for category 3 but Katrina was forecasted in Category 4, which went whopping 140 miles an hour.

    Hurricane Hanna's wind forces were at around 50 miles per hour. Hurricane Hanna did rain pretty hard, on Washington DC. Hurricane Hanna was located near lattitude 29.8.

    Hurricane Isaac passed through the northern Carribean. Isaac did cause a lot of flooding.Isaac had a frontal zone, and then moved up in through the Ohio valleys.

    Hurricane Sandy affected 24 states, that was in The United States. Hurricane Sandy caused bad damages in New Jersey and New York. It's storm hit New York City, flooding streets, tunnels and subway lines and cutting power in and around the city.
