    Charles Darwin was seen as the father of natural selection.
  • Contact with "Untamed Humans"

    Darwins first connection with untamed humans went better than it would have with the normal person, but he wrote "difference between savage & civilized man is.—It is greater than between a wild & [a] domesticated animal.". This is him comparing the animals that he has studied to his own species.
  • Bon Voyage

    On his first voyage Charles Darwin, at the age of 22 he landed at the Galapagos islands where he observed animals and plants that were secluded from the influence of humans, and noted how on each island the plants and animals were better suited for the differences on their respective islands.

  • Homecoming

    Darwin and his crew, deemed the "home-sick heroes", returned home to Tahiti, New Zealand, and Australia. Later they left their homes to embark on a new journey, to test what made coral grow and where it can grow. He had an idea that the only thing that coral needed to grow was optimal heat and light. On this voyage he learned that his ambitions and ideas about coral were correct and it helped people learn about how plants and life works.

    Charles Darwin passed leaving behind a lifetime of research and knowledge to be passed on to the next generation and generations beyond.
