The Europeans developed the use of the long bow which helped them in the war. The long bow was light weight and could piercea armor, thus making it a very efficiant weapon. -

Between 1337 and 1453 Edward the III the grandson of Philip IV, tried to clame the throne after the last Caspetian king. The wars that Edward III engaged in were know as the Hundred Years' War. -

The Europeans started off operating under medieval ideals of chilalry, but at as time passed they developed the use of hte long bow which gave them the upper hand in battle. -

First effective use of long bow
In the battle of Crecy was a battle where the longbowsmen were out numbered by the French(the French army was 3x the size of the English). The French army had archers armed with crossbows and knights, who believed they where invincible. So the English longbows men let well over a thousand arrows fly at the oncomming French army. With the French crossbowsmen retreating the knights had to plow through their fellow comrades to then also get hit by waves of arrows, and then get slaughtered. -

French Treaty
The English and the French finally came to the agreement to sign a peace treaty which stated that Henery V would get the French crown upon the death of king Charles VI. -

French Begin to Conquer
Between 1421 and 1453 the French and England battled back and forth for victory untill the French finally drove the English out of France completely exept for Calais.
