"The Last Supper", by Leonardo da Vinci is an excellent representation of the Renaissance Era. Renaissance means "the revival of art and literature under the influence of classical models in the 13th–16th centuries." This painting shows the importance of religion and is an excellent example of the advances, such as perspective, made in art during this time. -
Romantic Worldview
"Wanderer Above the Sea of Fog" by Casper David Fredric is the perfect example of what was commonly on display during the Romantic Era. During this time, paintings consisted of beautiful sunsets, scenery, imagination, and spirituality. -
Victorian Worldview
During the Victorian Era it was not uncommon for little kids to work long hours for almost no money at all. There were many industrial advances in society during this time. -
Modern-ism Worldview
This work of art, "Weeping Woman", by Picasso, represents the world of Modernism quite well. People during this era were quick to believe in things beyond the norm (such as alien invasion). Many people rejected religion and the humble views of the past. -

This art by Robert Rauschenberg is a decent representation of the Post-Modern era. After 1950 major things were happening in the Space programs around the world, JF Kennedy was a major promoter of this technology. This art utilized photos and painting as it's medium, which was common during the Post-Modern Era. -

This 3-d art by Gregoire Meyer is a good depiction of the Post-Postmodern Era. Technology is everything during this era, and it is used as a major means of human expression and advancement.
