    The last ice age started about 2.58 million years, and it forced the humans that lived up north to move south again because it was to cold in the north, and they could hunt animals because they were mostly gone.

    It was here about 2.5 million years ago, they had a bigger brain, and they were the ones that started to make tools to help them survive.

    Home erectus lived in the earth 1.8 million years ago. Homo erectus means Upright man. This is because they were the first humans to be able to walk on two legs. By walking on two legs they were able to travel for longer distances, and they were able to free their hands, letting them grab objects, and use them. They were able to grab tools and weapons, which made them more powerful, because they could hunt better with the weapons, and tools helped them do the things that they did easier.

    The hand axe was estimated to be made 1.6 million years ago. The hand axe allowed early humans to cut things with it, but that was not the only thing they used it for. They could break softer rocks, cut stick tu use for poking, and could use it as a knife for cutting meat. With the discovery of the hand axe it showed that early humans were evolving and becoming smarter by using tools to their advantage.

    Homo sapiens lived here 200,000 years ago. Homo sapien means wise man, they are called this because they had a larger brain that past species. This human could make decisions better than other species. These decisions helped them survive more, because they where smarter than their predators, and came up with thoughts of how to survive longer.

    The spear was said to be made about 279,000 years ago. The spear was a great tool to have, because with it it was easier to hunt. Early people could throw it and did not have to be really close to the animal. They could not only use the spear to hunt but also to defend themselves from predators that thrived to kill them.

    Fire created a way for early human to stay warm, and cook their food. By cooking to food it made it easier for their digestive system to digest, with fire they were able to see inside dark caves, because fire provided light. They cloud also use fire as a weapon from predators because they could burn them.

    Mount toba was a super volcanic explosion that covered the earth in ash, that lead to a volcanic winter for 6 to 10 years. The volcanic winter caused plant and food for the humans to die. Such amount of death lead to the decrease of human population, which they had to recover from.

    Scientist say the land bridge was made about 70,000 years ago, and it was connected to the americas. The bridge allowed early humans to cross to the americas, where they could find more animals, and more reasorces that could help them survive. They also have much more better tools and weapons that they could use, so they could settle much easier.

    Scientist say agriculture was invented 23,000 years ago. Agriculture helped the early human stay in one place, a place where they could have more people, and a place where they could live, and not worry about moving a lot. With agriculture humans could feed all the people, and did not have to rely on luck when they hunted, they still hunted but when did not hunt anything they did not have to worry about feeding their people, because they had food that they grow saved.

Because of global warming, humans started to see an increase in animals, and plants, so with these things they were able to survive easier than ever.

    The domestication of animals gave the humans a huge advantage, because the animals that they domesticated were wolfs, and they have way better senses that people. So with domesticated wolfs humans could hunt better, because wolfs could smell animals from far away, they also chased down the animals, and killed them with their strong jaws, and sharp teeth. So the domestication of animals gave the early humans way more meat to eat.

    Jerecho was build 3,400 years ago, and it was one of the first cities that was ever build. This city allowed early humans to stay in one place, because they could grow crops, and with that feed everybody. They could also survive because everybody had a job to do, and with more people they had more protection from posible predators. Some people made spears for the hunters, while others took care of the people by feeding them. But together they were able to survive.
