Preparation after Accumulation Period
Before writing a resume, you should accumulate knowledge, experience and try to make a good collection of them at least in your college time or working time. -
Create Categories
Make different categories for your resume: personal information, working experience, academic education and volunteer experience. -

Write down important details in working experience. For example, number is one of the most specifc details that can be impressive in resume. e.g.percentage of profit you have helped to make when you are working. -
Edit Volunteer Experience
Try to make the volunteer experience as specific as possible within given space. Specifically write down what achievement you have made in your experience. -
Edit Acdemic Education
In this category, to make a neat and clear excel for education experience, including courses you take and degrees you get. e.g. Business Calculus 1 or Business Bachelor Degree. -
Edit Format of Resume
Make every category clear. For example, underline the category name to emphasize and specify the category.Secpndly, make personal information in a right order. -
Review the Resume
Make a checklist to review the resume. 1. Did you specify your achievement under every catrgory? 2. Did you format your resume well? 3. Did you check your grammar and spelling? 4. Did you check your print view of your resume? 5. DId you strictly follow the requirement of the resume of the company you are applying? 6. Did you write your job objective? -
Professional Review
Find a professional authority to help you improve your resume. For example, ENG 2367 professor or career consultants in your school. If you are not currently in college, try to search tips online or find a relevant person who can be your consultant and make good advice. e.g. Your families in corporation, etc. -
Review Again and Submit
Review every details of the requirements and rules we made before. Submit your resume and wait for the result.
