    Blogger was our digital journal where we documented the planning and construction of the; main production, ancillary tasks (radio advert and poster), research into audience, documentary as a genre, narration and representation. Blogger also documented the evaluation questions.

    This website streamed and highlighted a variety of different documentaries on various channel. This website helped us observe a vast number of documentaries to gain an understanding of the genre of documentary (and the codes and conventions it consisted of), audience and narration.

    This internet search engine primarily used when researching the genre of documentary, audience, narrative, representation and when researching into using different software's. The search engine became an asset when researching into the main production and ancillary tasks.

    WhatsApp is a text messaging application that allowed the group to communicate without having to meet in person This became useful in organizing roles, schedules and meetings, encouraging communication with group to be quicker and easier. While texting held as a quicker method in communicating with Richard (the founder of Jet Black).

    This website became useful in learning how to use different software's and programs. YouTube contained tutorials on Adobe Premier Pro, After Effects, Photoshop and Audacity. Thus, the website was useful in developing and constructing the documentary, radio advert and poster.

    Adobe Spark is a mobile app for editing and producing videos, which became useful in practicing the basics of video editing. This taught the group the basics of producing and editing videos with adding narration, images and short clips to create a 30 second video.

    This social media platform became useful when researching into Jet Black and using some of their images and screen recording their page for the main production.

    -Razor tool+ cut away:
    Used during interviews to demonstrate images and video footage of what the interviewee was saying. For example, when the founder of Jet Black reminisces about the launch party the razor tool was used to create a cut away to the launch party poster and a clip to the party itself.

    -Hand tool + Zoom + Select:
    These basic tools were useful when zooming, moving and selecting tracks to edit and ensured that editing these tracks were easier.

    This tool became useful when creating the list of clothing the interviewee highlights and the title of ‘Jet Black’.
    -Key frames became useful when editing the colour, opacity, position and scale of achieve footage and aspects of the documentary. For example, the opacity of the title altered to create a fade in effect when Richard (the founder of Jet Black) drives off in his car.

    This website generates a variety of different fonts which can used on multiple platforms. This website became useful when creating the font for the title and subtitle for the main production (the documentary).

    Audacity is a digital audio editor that was useful when editing audio files. This software became vital when editing the narration for the documentary and the radio advert. Additionally, this software was used to record and edit the first evaluation question.

    Adobe Affect Effects was useful when creating graphs and establishing statistical information about the fashion industry. For example, when demonstrating that 8 out of 10 businesses fail I the first year, it was decided to use the software to create a see-saw type chart.

    This equipment was used when recording narration for the main production and recording the presenters for the radio advert.

    This software became vital when editing the documentary poster due to its variety in tools. For example, the Gaussian blur was used to blur the surroundings of the image and the quick selection tool was used to highlight the aspects of the poster we did not w4ant to blur.

    The voice recorder was used when creating a Voxpop for the radio advert as an extract from the documentary.

    This presentation program became useful when creating the foundation for evaluation question one.

    Quick Time Player is a video screen capturing application that allowed the group to record Evaluation Question 1. The group used this application to record a the presentation that answered the question; ‘In what ways does your media product use, develop or challenge forms and conventions of real media products.

    Prezi is a presentation software that was used for the second evaluation question ‘How effective is he combination of our main product and ancillary tasks’. The software allowed he group to use images, videos and texts.

    This editing software was used to edit the first evaluation question.
    The toos primarily used on the software was the 'razor tool' which helped to cut out certain aspects of the recordings that were not wanted.

    Moovly is a website that was used to create and publish a presentation for evaluation question 3 ‘What have you learned from audience feedback?’. The website became useful when embedding sound effects, music, images, text and video.

    Evaluation question 4 is being established on Time Toast, a website that documents events and the time period they occurred. This became useful when documenting the research, planning and construction tools used and why. The website was also useful when linking images, videos and other websites to demonstrate our point.
