This book was published later in 1863 by Hachette in Paris, it is a collection of the major works of Molière, one of which is "Tartuffe ou l'Imposteur". This play offended religious associations who forced Louis XIV to forbid its representation, even if the King enjoyed Molière's work. -
Trevi Fountain (started in 1732 and finished in 1762) by Niccolo Salvi.
This picture of the Fountain of Trevi is from the Web Art Gallery. This monument is one of the best representations of Baroque architecture. The Pope Clement XII ordered this architectural master piece should be right in front of the Duke of Poli's façade, ignoring the Duke's disagreement. -

This painting is from the website of Louvres Museum. Newly Emperor, Napoléon asked Jacques-Louis David to immortalize his consecration. At first, the painting depicted Napoléon putting himself his crown, but the "monarch" judged it was too despotic and David changed it so that Napoléon is crowning Joséphine. -

Piotr Ilych Tchaikovsky wrote "1812 Overture" completed in 1880. This picture is the first sheet out of 73 of the whole partition.The Czar Alexander II ordered this patriotic song for the commemoration of the 70th anniversay of Russia's victory against Napoléon's troops. -

Wagner wrote the Opera "Rienzi" in 1842 and was not considered as part of his major opera pieces. Nevertheless, in 1905, at the Linz Opera Theatre (Austria), a representation of "Rienzi" will be the inspiration for Adolf Hitler.
