Charles I
james died 1625, so Charles his son, took over the throne.
-Charles needed a money alot because he was at war with Spain and France
-1628 Charles was forced to call parliament again
-the parliament refused to give money to give charles money until he sign the petition of rights.
1929 charles dissolved the parliament and refused to call back to session. -

1649 cromwell and the pruitans brought charles to trial for treason against parliament. -

after charles signed the petition and agreed to it he did not follow it. So in 1629 charles dissolves the parliament -
Restoration
Oliver Cromwell ruled until 1658. After Cromwell died the government he established callapsed and a new parliament was seleced.
