Kozani is a city that has roughly 66 thousends residents. Therefore it is a city that can accommodate 10% refugees in propotion to it's population. In this way working positions and accommodation are possible to be found for all of them. -

In order to offer hospitality to the refugees our community can provide money with the intenion of redecorating the old hotel in Xenia. However this may cost a lot to our community so another proposal is to build camps using money from charitable organitations -
The kind of entrepreneurship that can be developed
In order for tha refugees to be accommodated in Kozani, jods must be found for them to make their own money and support themselves. A very clever suggestion is to be offered a jod in the fields where safran is produced. Also they can find jobs in local enterprises. -
The ways our school can help
Our school can help the refugees in many ways. First and most important, we can help learn the Greek language in order to be able communicate with local people. Also we can donate clothes, toys, books, medicines, food and some money to cover some of their needs. -
