The Treaty Of Paris ended the French and Indian War in 1763. The British shocked modren day people by choosing the barren wasteland of Canida from the French instead of the rich sugar islands of the West Indies. Proclamation of 1763

The Sugar Act
The Sugar Act put a 3 pence per galon tax on molasses and taxed other things such as sugar,certain wines, and coffee.
