Hop-Frog, the King and his Council, and Tripetta are introduced, as well as the setting. -
Conflict
The King splashed Trippeta's face with wine. Hop-Frog devises a plan to get revenge. -
Rising Action
The King and his Council are made to look like Orangutans and are chained together. They are unleashed at the King's ball in order to scare everyone. Hop-Frog tricks them and attached a chain to their chain and raises the up into the air. -
Climax
Hop-Frog roasts the royal company alive. -
Resolution
Hop-Frog and Tripetta run away from the castle, never to be seen again.
