Rudy wins three out of his four races at the Hitler youth carnival. This event was selected because it was the main reason that he was wanted to attend the elite Nazi school. Rudy would have had to attend if his father did not go to war instead. -

Victory day, Germany has surrendered. This date was selected becuase it was the end of the World War for Germany. This was also the end for the Nazi dictatorship under Hitler.
