On the night of November 9-10, 1938, the Nazis unleashed an orchestrated attack on Jews across Germany. Within 48 hours of the attacks, 7,500 Jewish owned businesses were beaten or destroyed, 96 had been killed, and nearly 30,000 men had been arrested and taken to concentration camps.
