    During the presidential election in Germany, Adolf Hitler runs in the race and obtains 35% of the vote, but does not win. However he does become appointed as Chancellor, which gives him power, but not complete power.

    Hitler had promised to restore Germany's power and strength, and he did so by getting the government to pass the Enabling Act, which gave Hitler practically unrestricted power do to as he pleases.

    After only a year into his term, President Hindenburg passed away due to lung cancer. Hitler used this as an opportunity to gain power and rise higher up, so after his death, he gained the support of the German Armed Forced to become the new president, and soon after dictator, of Germany.

    With the power of the Enabling Acts and the death of Hindenburg, Hitler becomes president/fuhrer of Germany and enforces new laws that affect the Jewish people greatly.
