THe Final Stage
A meeting held in Wannsee, a lakeside suburb near Berlin, Hitlers top officials agreed to begin mass murdering Jews. Germans built 6 death camps in Poland. Chelmno, the first, began operating in 1941. Each camp had gas chambers that could kill 12,000 a day. Auschwitz was the biggest death camp.
