Once the Nazis eliminated communists, socialists, and liberals, they turned agaisnt jews, Gypsies, freemasons, and jehovahs witnesses. He began having his death squads round these people up, and shoot them on the spot -
Removal from Gov. jobs
On April 7th, 1933, Hitler ordered all "non-Aryans" to be removed from government jobs. -
Nuremberg Laws
Laws passed that stripped Jews of their German citizenship, jobs, and property. they had to wear a bright yellow star of david so they could be easily identified -
The "St. Lous"
German ocean liner that was kept from America even though more than half had their immigration papers. They were forced to return to Europe, and later more than half were killed in the holocaust. -

Night of the Broken Glass. Nazi stormtroopers attacked Jewish homes, businesses, and synagogues across Germany. -
Death Camps
Chelmno- the first death camp. had huge gas chambers that could kill up to 12,000 people a day.
Aushwitz- Largest of the death camps. doctors waved along the strong prisoners, and the weak were gased to death. -
Final Stage
These prisoners at death camps and others were killed by bullets, beatings, starvation, overwork, and for the death camps, cyanide gas
