Stanley
This is how the book starts, with Stanley casually walking under an overpass when suddenly, a pair of shoes falls on him. -
Court
Stanley is arrested after being seen with shoes and is tried in court. -
Choices
Stanley was judged as guilty and had two choices, go to jail, or camp green lake. -
The bus ride
Stanley chooses to go to Camp Green Lake and takes the long bus ride there. -
Zero runs away
After hitting Pendanski, zero slowly backs away from the crowd, then runs away. -
Stanley searches for zero
Stanley decided to look for Zero by hijacking the water truck. Unfortunately he crashes it and runs away instead. -
Camp
Stanley meets Mr. Sir at camp. -
Tent Group
After learning how things go at camp and putting on his uniform, Stanley is put in group D with Mr. Pendanski. -
Fellow kids
Stanley then meets the other kids in his group. -
The first hole
Stanley is given his shovel and starts on his hole. -
The find
On a random day digging, Stanley finds a lipstick container. -
The Warden
Stanley tells Mr. Pendanski of his find and Pendanski then tells the Warden. -
The fight
While expanding a hole, Zigzag and Stanley get in a fight. -
Zero hits his counselor
After a long conversation with their counselor, zero hits Pendanski with his shovel. -
Stanley is on the lookout for Zero
Stanley calls Zero's name to see if he is able to be seen or heard. -
Stanley finds zero
When Stanley is searching he finds an upside down boat, and when he thought he saw a creature under there, it was really zero and the two relax by the boat. -
Travel to big thumb
Stanley and Zero travel to Big Thumb. -
On Big Thumb
Stanley and Zero reach Big Thumb and stay there for like a week. -
The suitcase
Stanley and zero return to camp silently and dug in the enlarged whole finding a chest, but are caught by the counselors, Mr. Sir, and the Wardem. Before they could grab the chest from the kids, the adults found lizards all around the kids and the chest. -
Stanley's lawyer
While waiting to see what the lizards would do, Stanley's lawyer comes. -
The chest's owner
The lizards eventually leave, so the Warden tried to take the chest, but Zero told her it had Stanley's name on it. -
Stanley and Zero leave the camp
Stanley finds out he is innocent, and Zero is also able to leave, as the camp couldn't find his files, so he wasn't under the camp's jurisdiction, so he and Stanley get in the car with the lawyer and drive off.
