The tortoises were nothing like the ones he had observed in other places. The iguanas were nothing like he had ever seen. The iguanas were sea based, and they swam in the ocean and ate seaweed.

    Darwin found the animals in Australia the most unique and wondered why they were so different. He also noted that Sydney was a great town.

    The HMS Beagle makes an unexpected stop back in Brazil. By this time, Darwin was seasick and homesick. He was ready to get back to England. He hated the sea and all the ships that sail upon its waters.
