Hitler was then sentenced to Landsberg Prison in located in Germany. His sentence was so long he decided to write a novel. His novel was called Mein Kampf (My Struggle). -

Propaganda was a very important part of the Nazi Party but even after their successful use of it the Nazis only managed to get a small number of seats in parliament. -

Hitler almost had total control over Germany. All that remained was the army and the SA, a parliamentary force. Hitler already convinced the military leaders that he was doing something right, so they believed him. Hitler put millions of Germans to work and the number of unemployed people dropped about 6 to 1.5 million -

Nazi mobs destroyed thousands of Jewish-owned building and killed Jews in their homes and in the streets (Night of Broken Glass).
