Hitler’s book Mein Kampf, German for “My Struggle”, he explains his political views and future plans for Germany. It was first published in the year 1925 and volume two a year after that. He made about 1.5 million dollars on the sale of his book and sold about 240,000 copies before he was appointed chancellor. The book was given free of charge to soldiers in newlyweds during the war. Hitler becomes Chancellor
President Paul von Hindenburg initially refused to make Hitler chancellor but eventually under pressure, named him as chancellor of Germany due to the increasing political instability in the Weimar Republic. -
Hindenburg dies, Hitler gains power
Hindenburg died August 2, 1934, the day before, the German cabinet had created a new law the combined the powers of the office of president and with those of the chancellor. Hitler then became head of state as well as head of government, and was formally named as leader and chancellor. As head of state, Hitler became the commander of the armed forces. -

At the annual party rally held in Nuremberg september 15, 1935, the Nazis announced new laws.These laws did not allow jews to have citizenship, or have relationships (physical or sexual) with a German. -
Annexation of Austria
The annexation of Austria was the Nazi propaganda term for the invasion and incorporation of Austria into Nazi Germany. Austria was also Adolf Hitler's birth country, and it was the first nation to be annexed by Hitler's Nazi Germany. -

On September 1, 1939, the German army invaded Poland. Because of a pact made with the Soviet Union, Germany could do this without fear of intervention. This attack started WW2. The invasion ended with Germany winning on October 6, 1939. -
Invasion of Russia
