In the town of Leonding, Austria, on the cold morning of Saturday, January 3, 1903, Alois Hitler, 65, went out for a glass of wine when he arrived and ordered his wine he died before the wine was brought to him.His father's funeral mass in the small church at Leonding was well attended. -

The German Workers' Party consisted mainly of an executive committee which had seven members, including Hitler. To bring in new members Hitler prepared invitations which each committee member gave to friends asking them to attend the party's monthly public meeting, but few came. -
Hitler discharged from Army
Hitler was discharged from the army in March 1920 and with his former superiors' continued encouragement began participating full time in the party's activities. Hitler was becoming highly effective at speaking in front of large crowds. In February, Hitler spoke before a crowd of nearly six thousand in Munich. To publicize the meeting, he sent out two truckloads of party supporters to drive around with swastikas. -
