Jazz is a perfect way to describe the carefree vibe of the 20s. It was created by African Americans of New Orleans, like Louis Armstrong. He was a fantastic jazz artist. When he was a child, Louis played a small tin horn. This helped African Americans to get more influenced in music and this also popularized music. -
The League of Nations is created.
The League of Nations is established with the ratification of the Treaty of Versailles, ending the hostilities of the first World War. Nine days later the United States Senate votes against joining the League. I chose this because it was a peacemaker to end the first world war. -
21st Amendment
The Twenty-first Amendment to the United States Constitution repealed the Eighteenth Amendment which was about the prohibition of alcohol. -
New Women
Women began coming out of their shells and doing what they want, wearing what they want, and also doing things men commonly did. Women wore bobbed haircuts and short clothing. This was a big change in women culture. -
19th Amendment
Women are given the right to vote when the 19th Amendment to the United States constitution grants universal women's suffrage. Also known as the Susan B. Anthony amendment, in recognition of her important campaign to win the right to vote. I chose this because women are now able to vote which was a big jump for the women society. -

The American Professional Football League is formed in 1920 with Jim Thorpe as its president and eleven teams. It would change its name to the National Football League in 1922. This is important because is the transformation of the sports world. -

The first sound on film motion picture Phonofilm is show in the Rivoli Theatre in New York City by Lee de Forest. This is important because connects with the transformation of entertainment. -

Is a movement that was developed in the united states which discriminated blacks. They advocated extremist reactionary currents such as white supremacy, white nationalism, and anti-immigration, historically expressed through terrorism. This is important because this was a cause of many strikes, laws, etc. -

International Business Machines Corporation is an American multinational technology and consulting corporation, with corporate headquarters in Armonk, New York. This was a big step in developing technology. -
Scope Trial
The state of Tennessee v. John Thomas Scopes was the case. A substitute high school teacher, John Scopes, was accused of violating Tennessee's Butler Act. Scopes was found guilty and fined $100. This was an important case during the 1920s. -

Ninety-four percent of the more than 630,000 people affected by the flood lived in the states of Arkansas, Mississippi and Louisiana, most in the Mississippi Delta. Hoover established promises to make good policies for the country. He was elected on November 19 1928. He was blamed for the cause of the great depression. -
Stock Market Crahses
Black Tuesday hit Wall Street as investors traded some 16 million shares on the New York Stock Exchange in a single day. Billions of dollars were lost, wiping out thousands of investors. This was soon a cause of the Great Depression.
