He was the one who created the famous document of the emancipation P roclaimation which allowed African Americans to become soldiers and fight in the war on the North's side. -

A democrat, Andrew Johnson, became president after the assasination of Abraham Lincoln. He was originally Abraham Lincoln's Vice President. -

The already well known Democrat, Grover Cleveland, became president again after Benjamin Harrison. Some of his accomplishments included having a big part in the Foriegn policy of 1893 to 1897. He ran for two terms as president but Benjamin Harrison was the president in between his two terms. -

Some of his accomplishments included being a "trust buster" which meant that fully supported railway expansion and construction. Another great characteristic of this man is that he made sure he represented the people of the USA to the best of his ability. -

Formerly a General of the United Stated Armd Forces, Woodrow Wilson, a democrat from Staunton, Virginia took the spot as the 33rd president of the United States.
His accomplishments included becoming a leader and fighting in World War I.
