    The Xbox Series X and Series S were released. The Xbox Series X is the most powerful and expensive model, while the Series S is the smaller and cheaper model. Both consoles support 4K resolution, backward compatibility, and Xbox Game Pass. The launch of the Xbox Series X and S was the most successful debut in Xbox history, with more new consoles sold than any prior generation, and more games played across four generations.
