The Construction of the Harbour Bridge
As part of the Western reclamation between the 1950 and 1960 the western edge of the modern day of Westhaven Marina has nearly been ready to be put to good use of access for traffic. 1957 - The Waterfront was transformed into a highway. 1959 - Completion of harbour bridge is made, linking the North Shore to the Central city of Auckland and making it easier for transportation. -
Silo Park
During August 2011, New Zealand hosted the Rugby world cup. Because of this, 500m of new public space was introduced in the form of Silo Park, North Wharf, Karanga Plaza and Wynyard crossing bridge. -
