In 1972 Ataris table tennis game became super popular and and Ralph Baer the creator of Magnavox sought action against Atari. He claimed that Atari copied their game of ping-pong. In 2009 Ed O Bannon and Sam Keller filed a lawsuit against EA sports because they were not paid their royalties for their likeness rights for the NCAA basketball and football series of games.
