    This isn't on there, but from the video we watched this is something that I thought would be cool to mention, since it was one of the earliest forms of games.
  • Spacewar

    Spacewar
    One of the first games that could be played on compter.
  • Atari

    Atari
    Originally named the atari vcs, later named the atari 2600. It consists of two joysticks, two paddles, and a cartridge game.
  • Space Invaders

    Space Invaders
    One of the most well known games to this day, space invaders was a shoot em' up arcade game.
  • Nintendo

    Nintendo
    The first console released by Nintendo, and was the sucessor to the nintendo entertainment system (nes).
  • Mario

    Mario
    One of the most iconic games in history, and one of the most well known characters; (along with sonic), having 200 million copies of him sold.
  • Zelda

    Zelda
    One of video games stars along with mario & sonic, the legend of zelda was a pixel game that would soon evolve into a 3D world, being able to be played on the nintendo switch.
  • ET

    ET
    One of the games that actually failed, considered "the worst game in history", since it had terrible graphics, terrible to learn, and very confusing.
  • Sega Genesis

    Sega Genesis
    A console created by sega, and was created in japan, except brought to the U.S in 1989.
  • Sonic the Hedgehog

    Sonic the Hedgehog
    Also one of the most iconic video game characters, (along with mario), having sold over 70 million copies.
  • Arcus Odyssey

    Arcus Odyssey
    one of the first games to introduce hack and slash gameplay, released by sega and nintendo.
  • Playstation

    Playstation
    The rival of microsofts xbox, the playstation was released in Japan in December of 1994, which was a game console that allowed you to use your disc, and even charge your controller just like the original xbox.
  • Nintendo 64

    Nintendo 64
    One of the first consoles released by nintendo which had a holding handle in the middle, 4 buttons, and a D-pad, like playstations controller; but a bit modified.
  • Playstation 2

    Playstation 2
    A few years after it's release too, the playstation 2 was released in 2000, which was the new era of gaming that introduced more iconic consoles that would come in later years.
  • Xbox

    Xbox
    The more iconic console that we all know of, except not exactly the ones that we know of today. This is what microsofts attempt was to enter the world of electronic gaming.
  • Xbox 360

    Just four years after it's original release, the Xbox 360 was a much better step up from what the original one was, featured more games, and better components.
  • Playstation 3

    Playstation 3
    Another console developed by sony, being the third drop of their original console, playstation, still following the original controller and charge.
  • Wii

    Wii
    A new console that sparked from nintendo, following up from its past sucessor, gamecube. It was a seventh gen console, and released in december 2006 all around the world, november 2006 in other parts.
  • Playstation 4

    Playstation 4
    The rival that xbox was trying to beat (or vice versa), the console we all know that has had some of the craziest messages.... being another hit sale by sony.
  • Xbox One

    Xbox One
    One of the more modern consoles that was released by microsoft, being the pre-successor to the xbox series x. still being used to this day, just like the ps4.
