Bass Strait Sailed
George Bass, whom sailed through Bass Strait, also, while sailing through the Bass Strait, sighted the coastal area around Wilsons Promontory and Western Port. -
John Murray Explores Corio Bay
John Murray, on the Lady Nelson, entered Port Phillip and explored Corio Bay. Matthew Flinders also came by and climbed two major peaks in the area, this includes the You Yangs and Arthurs Seat.
