In 410, the Romans left England because their homes in Italy were being attacked by fierce tribes and every soldier was needed. During the Dark Ages the Saxons and Vikings came to Britain. -

TUDORS
The Tudors reign lasted from 1485 to 1603. They were a Welsh- English family that ruled England and Wales for 118 years and they encouraged new religious ideas. -
VICTORIANS
the Victorians lived over one hundred and fifty years ago during the reign of Queen Victoria (1837 to 1901), she ruled for 64 years. -
WORLD WAR I and II
The United Kingdom entered World War I allied with France and Russia in 1914 and the World War II in 1939. Following that war, the Irish Free State became the Irish Republic and left the Commonwealth.
