The Fall of Osprem
Yethen is the first to make a move against those with whom she shares a portfolio. She defeats Osprem and absorbs his portfolio. -
Procan's Abandonment
Yethen gathered her power against Procan, but it failed to move him from his position. Instead, she innundates every coastal village, town, and city in the world, turning people against living by the water and drawing sustenance from it, and they turn against Procan in anger and fear. He abandons his portfolio and relics. -
Scarcity
Yethen continues her devastation of surface life, aligning with dark gods of misery, water, rain, famine, war, and hopelessness. These forces gain the upper hand in the world, and supplies become scarce, causing war and conflict to break out amongst the peoples of the world. -
The Spark
Skirmishes and theft were ripe in the years leading up to the start of the war. But one event in particular most agree was the point of no return. It is not agreed, however, if it was a band of feral, preadatory humans slaughtering an elvish village for wealth, or if it was a desperate band of human families tired of being starved and squeezed out by expansionist, hoarding and militant elves who "owned all the land" before any other race. -
Chaos
Borders close. Resources, hard to come by, had for years been put to building war machines of races and nations within races. The gnomes raid dwarven stores. Dwarves treat gomes as a plague to be sourged from under the mountain. Every race succumbs to the call for warfare in the name of survival. -
The Start of the Millennium Wars
All of the strife and tension snapped in this age, and the world was at war for two thousand years. -
