The Domain Name System is Created
The first domain name servers (DNS) were created. The system was important because it made addresses on the internet more "human-friendly" compared to the long numerical IP addresses. The DNS servers made it so anyone could type an easy to remember domain name into the computer and it would then find that IP address linked with the name and bring you to the address. -
