The Oath was signed by 5776 people of the third estate. They were locked out of the Estates General by the king, hence the oath, "Not to separate, and to reassemble wherever circumstances require, until the constitution of the kingdom is established." -
The Storming of the Bastille
The poor had stolen 28,000 rifles from the army, but didn't have any gunpowder. On this day, people stromed into this prison to free the prisoners, kill anyone in their way, and get gunpower. -
Women's March to Versailles
The women were rioting over the high price and scarcity of bread in Paris. There was a rumor that the King and Queen held all the grain. They aquired wepons and marched 12 miles to Versailles by the thousands. -
King Louis XVI Execution
King Louis was executed by a guillotine. It was a major event of the French Revolution. He was voted guilty by one vote. His last speach was drowned out by drums, and the crowd was ecstatic when the job was done.
