Improvement of Stumps, Bat ,and Ball
As the game began to flourish the demand for better equipment began to rise as well. Cricket bats were originally just one piece of willow shaped out into a hockey stick. More improvements
As the game progressed the bats were becoming more and more refined. The edges were smoothed out and the bat became thicker near the middle and the 'toe guard' was introduced.
