    The Nike revolt took place against Justinian I. The riots took place for roughly a week in Constantinople. The most violent riots in Byzantine history resulting with about half the city being burned and tens of thousands of people being killed. Justinian I killed roughly 30,000 rioters. Exiled the senators that supported the riots and executed hyptiaus. He then rebuilt the city and the hagia Sophia after most of it was destroyed.

The romans were almost defated in the next battle but they had a chance to regroup which eventually led to them winning the battle.

Cursuader armies captured,looted and destroyed most of Constantinople. Which resulted in a territorial change Byzantine territories were divided up to crusaders.

    The fortified city was defeated by roughly 150 thousand men. Lead by sultan mehmed II. The Turks used a very large arsenal of weapons and artillery. From stones,javelins,arrows,cannons and many more. The Turks were also attempting to take over the sea while battles were being fought on land. A second attack by sultan mehmed II favorite troops known as janissaries the attack was successful and it was the end of the Byzantine empire.
