    The Ipad was first created in 2010 by the Apple company. The Ipad allowed users to have the abilities of their iphones to be enjoyed on a larger screen. While the ipad at the time did not have the ability to connect to mobile service it did have the ability to connect to wireless internet. This made the ipad a household commodity very quickly as it was useful for tasks such as work, school, and entertainment.

    Instagram
    Instagram was created in 2010 by Kevin Systrom. While Instagram is not a physical appliance or piece of technology it is an application created for the use of all technology users. Instagram is a social media platform that allows users to edit and post pictures for others to see and interact with. While it took time for the app to become popular, once it did it became a staple for all those interested in social media.

    The Chromebook was released by Google in 2012. The Chromebook was a huge step forward in getting computer technology into the classroom. Chromebooks allowed students to have a portable computer devices without leaving the classroom. While the Chromebook did not have all the functions of a larger laptop, it does allow the user to surf the web, use Microsoft applications, and create projects on a compact device.

    The Oculus was invented in 2012 by Reality Labs. The Oculus is a virtual reality application that allows the user to wear a goggle that displays a virtual reality screen. The oculus was the next step towards a different medium of entertainment, from video games to movies. The oculus allows the user to view whatever platform they are in as though they were there in person. Its POV abilities create an environment of reality.

    The Apple watch was created by the Apple company in 2014. The apple watch allowed users to connect their personal phones to a small screen on their wrists. This entailed messages, phone calls, social media updates, and other tasks being able to be viewed on one's watch without using a phone. This technology pioneered the way for other technology companies to create smart watches of their own.
