The First Occurrence
During a community picnic, Heather Davis finds a dead man on a rock around the outskirts of the town, where the residents were having a picnic. She tells everyone but when they return to the rock, the dead body is gone. -
The Church Caves In
During the restoration of the town church, an unnamed builder pulls a couple of the sticks supporting a part of the church. The church collapses and kills 5 people injuring 3. -
The Second Occurrence
Multiple residents report people with missing limbs and bloodied faces walking out of the collapsed church to the Steinwood Police Department all on the same day. -
The Daycare Is Exposed
The Sunny Time Daycare is revealed to be a child trafficking organization. The people of Steinwood burn it down after the police rescue all the children inside. -
Harry Patrick Jones Is Murdered
Harry Patrick Jones is murdered by Olson Craig, also known as the Steinwood Killer. This would only be Olson's first kill of many to come. -
Kelly Garcia Is Murdered
Kelly Garcia was found dead in her kitchen. It was later revealed to be The Steinwood Killer. -
The Steinwood Killer Copycat Is Arrested
After a series of failed murder attempts, The Steinwood Killer Copycat, aka James Declan, was arrested. -
The Third Occurrence
3 people from Steinwood are kidnapped and 34 people move out of the town. -
The FBI Investigates Steinwood
For unknown reasons, FBI agents show up in Steinwood and start questioning people. -
The Steinwood Killer Returns
After nearly 5 years of being dormant, The Steinwood Killer strikes again, killing one FBI agent and Sarah Jones, Harry Patrick Jones's wife. -
The Worst Halloween
On the Halloween of 1970, the Steinwood Killer was reported stalking people and even beating up a new resident. -
The Steinwood Killer Is Arrested
On New Years Eve, 1970 The Steinwood Killer was finally caught after nearly 6 years. The police set a trap for him. More info on the Steinwood, Kentucky official website. -
The Final Occurrence (1st Generation)
The "Ghosts" that came out of the church 10 years prior, return and walk the streets for 2 hours. The residents report this as "The scariest night of their lives." -
Steinwood Is Shut Down
The FBI shuts down Steinwood for investigation. At this point, most people have moved out of Steinwood. -
Steinwood Opens Back Up
Years after the FBI started investigating it, Steinwood finally opens back up in the winter of 1983. -
The First Occurrence (2nd Generation)
People report men breaking into their houses and standing in their living rooms, not moving for hours. They then leave about 3 hours after they enter. -
The Second & FINAL Occurrence (2nd Gen)
Zombies are reported to start roaming the streets and would do this 24/7. The new 2nd Gen police force leave Steinwood along with the rest of the new inhabitants. -
Steinwood: The Ghost Town
Steinwood becomes a ghost town. -
10 First Gen Residents Return
In 1990, 10 of the 1st generation residents return to Steinwood to finally solve the mystery. The group included Heather Davis, one of the very first residents who just turned 50 at the time. -
The Steinwood Killer Dies
The Steinwood Killer is released after doing 20 years in Prison and returns to Steinwood. He attempts to kill Heather and the group of 1st gen residents. Most likely because they were close to figuring things out. Heather takes out her revolver and shoots TSK 3 times. He dies a few seconds after that. -
Steinwood 40th Anniversary

Steinwood Officially Shuts Down
Steinwood officially shuts down after some residents had returned. (Not including the investigative 1st gen team). The 1st gen investigators finally figured things out in 1999. Turns out that TSK had been pulling the string with all those weird thing. He had connections, even from prison and would hire people to break into the 2nd gen residents homes even from were he was. -

Heather Davis Dies
Heather Davis, one of the biggest parts of the history of Steinwood, Kentucky died at the age of 79 from cancer.
