During this times people thought if you were deaf, bling or unable to speak you were "dumb".

They offers training and promotes neurodiversity for educators so people with autism receive the proper assistance they need when it comes to their education. This society also collaborates with medical professionals and educational institutions.

    The Education for All Handicapped Children Act improved educational services in public schools so they are able to meet the of special needs children. According to this law, children with special needs have the right to a free and nonrestrictive learning environment (FAPE). It also guarantees that the unique needs of each child is met. The school, parent and others come together and create an Individualize Education Program for each students to see exactly what they need.
