Montezuma II Stoned to Death
In 1517 the emperor received the news of which strangers had landed on the coast. On the 8th of November 1519, Cortes and Montezuma met. The next few months went by, and Montezuma was used and imprisoned by the Spanish as the conquest progressed. Montezuma’s life ended during a battle with the Spanish in 1520. Even though the exact cause of his death is a matter of disagreement. -

La Noche Triste translates in English to the Night of Sorrows. La Noche Triste was an important event during the Spanish conquest, involving Hernán Cortés and his army of Spanish conquistadors. Cortes' army fought their way out of Tenochtitlan (the Mexican capital) following the death of the Aztec king Moctezuma II. -

Hernan Cortes Dies
Cortez was the man known for conquering Mexico. Hernan Coretez was born in 1485 and died in 1547. He had 11 children and died from a disease called Pleurisy. He lead and expedition that caused the Aztec empire to fall, Mexico was then claimed as part of Spain.
